Helen grew up in New Orleans, receiving a BA in history from Newcomb College, Tulane University, and a master's in urban and regional planning from the University of New Orleans. She worked in planning and historic preservation with Hill Studio PC for more than 20 years. Prior to managing Canterbury, she was shop manager for the Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline. She and her husband David Hill have two daughters, a cat, three horses and a new dog, and they love to travel. She's been a member of St. John's for 30 years, serving on various committees and ministries.
